Can I view my boarding pass even if I can’t access a mobile network?

Yes you can, boarding passes are saved for offline viewing in the ‘My boarding passes’ section of the app. You can find this in the side menu. If you log out of the BA app you will require a data connection to log back in and see your boarding passes.

How do I use a mobile boarding pass?

The mobile boarding pass can be used instead of a normal boarding pass. It can be scanned directly from your phone at the check-in desks, security gates or lounges and presented as you board the aircraft.

Where are mobile boarding passes accepted?

The mobile boarding pass is accepted on the majority of British Airways routes. To find out which airports currently accept mobile boarding passes, please go to: ba.com/mobileboardingpass.

What happens if there's a change to my booking?

The airport staff will print a new boarding pass for you.

My flight has departed; can I still see the boarding pass?

Yes, if you have previously downloaded the boarding pass. To view your boarding pass for a departed flight please visit the ‘My boarding passes’ section of the app via the side menu.

I am travelling with a group; can we all use boarding passes on my phone?

Yes, on selected routes you can have more than one boarding pass on your phone. If this feature is available you will see a “Check-in or manage boarding passes” link on the home screen. All passengers must be travelling on the same booking reference.

Can I get a mobile boarding pass for an infant passenger?

No, boarding passes for infants are not currently available in the app. Please use ba.com to print your boarding passes, or visit a check-in kiosk or desk at the airport.
